THE #BEEACTIVE NEWSLETTER Dear Michel, thank you so much for your support to bees and farmers! Together with more than 716,000 European citizens, we ask the European Commission to end the use of synthetic pesticides, to take urgent measures to recover biodiversity and to support farmers in this transition. We now ask for your help! We are 5 weeks away from the deadline: we need 300,000 more signatures by September 30. Your contribution is crucial to reach our goal of 1 million signatures. 1. Please forward this message with a few personal words to all your friends and contacts. Ask them to sign and to spread the word. Share the message on social media. Sign & share now! 2. Help to collect paper signatures in your neighbourhood, at a demonstration, at your local farmers’ market… You will find them here on our website, with clear instructions on how to fill them and where to send them once completed. Download ECI material Some people may hesitate to give personal information (i.e. date of birth, ID number…). You can reassure them: this is a requirement from your country in order to verify the vote and it is safely encrypted and transferred to the relevant authorities. All the fields must be accurately filled in to make the signature valid. 3. Print A4 posters with a QR-code and hang them at your local grocery store, library, community centre or church.  Download posters 4. Make a donation to help push the campaign in these crucial weeks: every euro counts, especially in the last stretch to reach 1 million signatures to save the bees and farmers!   Donate now!
